Solo, Indonesia once again mourn, one son of the nation has passed away. The Maestro Kroncong Gesang Martohartono or later we all know by Gesang just had our last breath. He died on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at around 18:00 pm at the PKU Muhammadiyah hospital in Solo.
Based on information from the family, the deceased who was born October 1 Gesang years ago in 1917, the plan will be buried tomorrow after Friday prayers on Friday 05/21/2010 in the family cemetery Pracimaloyo Makamhaji Pajang. According to Yani, a nephew of the deceased, there is no final messages from Gesang, and the late afternoon could sing the song 'Jembatan Merah' and 'Bengawan Solo' but not to completion.
Gesang Marto Hartono, maestro keroncong born in Solo, Central Java, October 1, 1917. Bengawan Solo songs were created during six months in 1940, when he was 23 years old.
